I am in knitting purgatory! I am making sure I finish one project before I start any new ones. So I am working away on project one right now, a sweet little dress for my niece, and then will address the two partner less socks I have in the basket. I put each unfinished project in a bag and then stacked them in a basket. I put all my stash in plastic containers (keeps it away from a certain puppy too!) and stacked that away out of sight. I put the project I am working on in a little shopping bag with knitting supplies and extra yarn. I take it everywhere with me so that I can utilize any down time and thus I will finish this project. I am determined to be organized and serious about my knitting. I love to knit and I think I need to turn out my projects in an orderly and organized way. I am tired of being scattered and jumping from one project to the next. So with all good intentions I headed out shopping this past weekend..... Ah well, I guess I was having too much fun and flew to near the sun. I came in (sneaked in really) with a large purchase from LYS and was summarily asked if I had finished all my other projects...well I guess I'll show him! Really he is a great guy but just doesen't get the knitting thing. Knitting fingers to the bone here in New Jersey................
Dogs on Thursday..................Is this the face of a criminal? He is a chicken bone stealing, low down, garbage swilling, sneak of the week! Sitting at my computer I thought I heard the sound of crunching...but no..not my puppy....I checked it out anyway and low and behold there he was chompping away on the chicken bones from dinner. Did I close the garbage lid? You bet I did! Did I wrap those bones in a paper towel and shove them way down? Again, you bet I did. Was that enough to stop a chicken bone thief? Apparently not! Did I shove my hand down his throat and remove the remains of his chicken bone sortie? How course I did. I only hope that I got them all. What a very bad dog. I will now remove all yummy items, such as bones, fat, skin and other misc. parts of the bird and put them in the outside garbage. He was very contrite and very abjectly posed for some pictures......he looks sorry doesn't he? (Until next time that is!) who me? See you all next Thursday...woof...woof till then.

Love the little dress!
I think that he looks sad that he was caught. I have been known to reach right in and yank the offending object out.
That is a very cute face tho.
ohh the dress looks like its going to be very cute, and I love the purple color, it looks like your making good progress on it, I tried that whole one project at a time thing and it never works for me, I think I have come to terms with it now, I just enjoy knitting pure and simple, no matter how long it takes me to finish or even if I never finish at all (gasp)... there are a few
Love the dress...and that bad boy. He looks so very sorry for his momentary lapse in judgment.
That's a cute little dress! And nope, I'm not seeing remorse on his face. I'm just seeing the 'mom caught me' look...he'll do it again :)
Good for you staying true to one project. Maybe it'll rub off on me:) Now, as for Oliver, he not only does NOT look contrite, he doesn't have to look contrite. He's adorable and he knows it. Why, oh, why, do they make us crazy? Grover and I need to give him a big ole hug!
You sound like me. I'm trying to finish up all the projects I have going before I start new ones...does casting on a sock count as a new project? Love the sad look-- Ella says "hi". Have a great one:)
haha, chicken bone thief! My Trinket's nickname is "thief", luckily he's too small to do any real damage.
Looks like he's ready for a nice belly rub :-)
Oh no ... Lola, Zeus & Tut say "hey ma, see... WE'RE not so bad are we??!!" lol
That's the cutest criminal I've ever seen!
Awwww! Poor pup. He definitely looks sorry! By the way, love that baby dress - and the color is heavenly :)
Oh, I know that look... and I've been burned so many times that I don't believe it for a minute!!
My Jayda... same cute, innocent look. But she's a thief too, pure and simple.
He might have been bad, but who could possibly stay mad at that sweet face. I love the sweet dress.
He looks so sad now! But I totally understand. I've seen my daughter do the same thing when I have been careless (just once, I don't want to put the dogs through that again).
Sweet pup!
The dress is C-U-T-E!
Your handsome boy has such soulful eyes. Just want to give him a hug!
:)
I'm glad everything worked out okay with the chicken bones. If your dog is anything like mine, this experience will not discourage future chicken bone stealing. It's frustrating, but I guess that's also another reason why dogs are so happy -- they live in the moment and don't ever look back.
Ahhh what a sweet looking face on Oliver!
I love the dress you are making by the way!
Oh the poor baby. He looks sorry Mom.
