KNITTING GAL

November 17, 2007

Saturday afternoon

I have been knitting but without any success. I have frogged the same row ten times. I can't knit a pattern with yarn overs while watching TV with Mom! She is a chatter box and makes me laugh, but I am afraid my knitting will have to go on hiatus! So no news on the knitting front. I am anxiously awaiting a book I ordered. It is going to show how to knit two socks on circulars at the same time. So I will just putter around and read blogs until my Mom's visit is over. Everyone have a great weekend and I am off to make lunch and the to watch a great mystery with "Mama". So I will leave you with some eye candy today. In my opinion the best James Bond ever.

I have the same issue when knitting with my Mom. I guess that's what happens when you knit with your best friend!

Quality time with your Mom. How sweet. Knitting anything but stockinette is inadvisable right now. Have a great Sunday!

Ohhhhh.....thanks so much for the eye candy. Scrumptious!

Pierce did a movie near me several years ago, Dante's Peak. One of my best friends and her husband got to escort Pierce around town. And another friend of mine was an extra in the movie. I never got to meet him though. Sigh....

I hope you have a good visit. I was with my mom this weekend and enjoyed walking and shopping. Holding hands, never to young to hold my mama's hand.

I HADn't realised that 'family' stitchery was so pertinent. We down here in Australia have never celebrated Thanksgiving. What is the date for Thanksgiving? I have just had a very trying weekend with a 15 1/2 year old son so the quote was just how I was feeling this morning!

Hi Mom!! Oh Pierce. Poor Dad, if he ever comes knocking, we all know what you would do! ;) I love my new scarf; I wear it all the time. Miss you lots!
