Contest Update......

........View of the river where I live........

Hey all my new blog friends! I am adding everyone that left a comment to my list of blog friends so that I can visit your blogs and enjoy them all. I am in the middle of adding them, so if you don't see yours don't worry I am chugging along. Now some names left in the comment section do not link back to the blog. Soooo If one of those is the winner I will post what info I have and then you can contact me. I have enjoyed seeing each new blog and will be visiting them all regularly. Now someone left a comment and said that they read my blog but only comment when they feel something interest them.... Well that is o.k. with me. I am happy to have anyone take a peek and if you have nothing to say that is fine too. Just enjoy.

........Thinking of things to come...........

No new knitting pics but I am working away on all my OTN projects to finish them so I can start on holiday gifts! Yikes!!!! I can't believe I am thinking about that. But I saw on someone's blog that there are 155 days until Christmas so hence the feeling of a dragon's breath on my neck. I must promise not to get too crazy and just do two or three projects for gifts. That seems to be my limit. Last Christmas my daughter asked me to knit a "few scarfs" for friends as she was low on funds. She emailed me her list of 7 names and by the end I had knitters cramp! Not doing that ever again. She can knit herself this year. (Hint to number one daughter) Off to slumber land until tomorrow. Keep Knittin' Kittens.

What a gorgeous sunset!! I'm a sucker for sunset/sunrise pictures and each summer we go to LBI, NJ and the majority of my pictures are of the sunrises over the ocean or the sunsets over the bay (but trees get in the way sometimes!)

is that what a sunset looks like??? I haven't seen one in so long because its either supper time or bath/bedtime at my house.

Gorgeous picture? Lucky you for such an awesome view.

As far as comments, I don't know about other people, but here at home, it takes FOREVER to load comments and sometimes - after waiting FOREVER I come back to a blank screen - which is why I personally sometimes don't leave comments - It all depends on my finicky computer connection...

Happy day.

Lovely shot. I made sure my daughters that wanted to give knitted gifts learned to knit. Last year I added a knitted hat to a scarf that my daughter made for her boyfriend. He was so thrilled because no one had ever knitted him anything before.
